The November ride consisted of coffee at the local coffe shop as teh westher forecast was quite horrendous. The December Spokes Ride went to East Lothian, a nice ride, wind assisted in part, out to East Lothian, sunny in the morning, but a wee bit cool. Around 12 people turned out. A nice short ride, we were home about 4 o’clock, some of us a bit sooner.

Thanks to everyone who turned up today. There were three people who went home before lunch, 2 were not feeling well, and one person was a companion to someone who was not feeling well. I hope the rest of you enjoyed our trip to Carlops. Nicely timed so that we got to Fairmilehead just before 4 o’clock, just as it started raining.

It was really nice to see faces of people who’ve not been on a ride for a few months. There were 19 people on the Spoke’s Sunday Ride to Linlithgow. Thanks to Dave for inviting us to his home in Linlithgow where we had our picnic lunch outside, and some of us raided the brambles after lunch.

Well we had a wonderful bike ride to Dunfermline today. We visited Pittencrief Park, where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch in the Conservatory Café in Pittencrief House. The weather was very kind to us, being quite wary after yesterday’s downpour, we missed all the showers apart from a light shower at South Queensferry, and we were dry all day.
