Welcome to SnowCycle, a website for cycling and skiing, since 1993.

This website has some reports and photographs from the Spokes Sunday Bike Rides that I lead. If you're interested in coming along, we meet on the 1st Sunday of the Month at the Usher Hall, Lothian Road at 10am. Spokes Rides are free to everyone. If you live in, or are visiting, Edinburgh, and want to come along (there's no joining fee!!!!), let me know using the Contact link at the top of this page.

Spokes is the Lothian Cycle Campaign, the main efforts and activities are in the council areas of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian.See Spokes for more info. Spokes works with Councils and other Cycling Organisations, such as Sustrans, Cycling Scotland and the CTC, to encourage cycling not only for health and exercise, but also as a fun and environmentally friendly method of travel.
